Spiritual Senses is a compilation of four separate writings from our beloved author, T. Austin-Sparks. In each section of this book, he brings to our attention the desires and heart of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, concerning ourselves, our desolateness, and finally, how to go on onto Spiritual Maturity. So deep is this book that a person must have the revelation of Christ, His suffering and pain, and His ultimate glory, in order to appreciate what T. Austin-Sparks is saying. This is not a book to be read speedily, but to be considered carefully in prayer, lest we miss any of the incredible truth that is endowed in these pages. About the Author
Theodore Austin-Sparks was born in London, England in 1888 and was educated in both England and Scotland. At the age of 25 he was ordained as a pastor; however, a few years later his "career" took a decidedly different direction when a spiritual crisis brought him to a place of brokenness. He left the denomination with which he was involved, dropped the title of "Reverend" and went on to produce much writing, all with a strong revelation of Christ.

One of my favorite authors I recommend any of his writings
The book talks about living in Christ and trusting in what he has already done on the cross and not leaning on the flesh and works.
One of the best books I have ever read. Talks about genuine Spiritual growth. It was very helpful, confirming, and encouraging.
This book requires reading several times. The first reading is simply to get an overview of the book. The second reading must be a study coupled with prayer and meditation .
Great book
I read so much books I can't fully remember everything but the subject context was what drew my interest concerning the senses which many believers can experience as the Spirit leads.
T-Austin Sparks has the testimony that "he being dead, yet speaks", to me personally and many others, the true meaning of the cross of Jesus Christ and The power of his resurrection. He has an anointing that goes beyond the letter of the word.
